Cooling System Service and Swirl Flap Cleaning for a BMW in Belgrade

A BMW came into our Russian-run auto service in Belgrade for cooling system maintenance and preventive engine work.

We carried out a partial coolant change. For BMW B47 engines, a partial change typically takes around 5–7 litres of coolant.

In this case we used Valvoline's green HT-12 coolant.

We also cleaned the swirl flaps and intake system. Over time, diesel engines build up significant deposits and carbon on the intake and flaps, which can affect engine performance.

Regular servicing of the cooling and intake systems helps keep the engine running smoothly and prevents more serious faults down the line.
