Car Service in Belgrade — MINI Cooper SD 2.0 B47 Service

Our car service in Belgrade recently completed comprehensive maintenance on a MINI Cooper SD equipped with a 2.0 B47 diesel engine producing 170 hp.

The following work was carried out:

• engine oil replacement;
• replacement of all filters;
• fuel filter replacement;
• oil replacement in the 8-speed Aisin automatic transmission;
• computer diagnostics of the engine and electronic systems;
• inspection and diagnostics of the intake system.

Special attention was paid to the fuel filter. On diesel vehicles, regular fuel filter replacement is particularly important. We recommend replacing the fuel filter at least every 20,000 km to help protect the fuel system and maintain reliable engine operation.

During computer diagnostics and inspection of the intake system, we found that the swirl flaps were heavily contaminated. A thick layer of soot and carbon deposits had accumulated on them.

We recommended cleaning the intake system to the customer, and he agreed. The intake system was thoroughly cleaned and the accumulated deposits were removed.

Regular maintenance of the BMW/MINI B47 diesel engine, timely replacement of oil and filters, servicing of the Aisin automatic transmission, and regular inspection of the intake system can help prevent expensive repairs in the future.
