Dmitry came to us with a clear goal: an Alfa Romeo Giulia. He initially wanted the 280 hp version and sent over a few listings he liked. We checked each car's dealer history and ran a CarVertical report. As expected, a good chunk of them turned out to have accident history — the powerful versions tend to get driven hard, and a genuinely good example isn't easy to find.
In the end we suggested an alternative: a 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia in a striking red with the 2.0 Turbo, 200 hp engine. The car had a full service history, a clean CarVertical report, and one of the most reliable automatics in its class — the ZF 8HP.
After the purchase, the car went through a full service at our shop: oil and all filters changed, spark plugs replaced, and an oil change on the ZF 8HP automatic, pan included. Changing the cabin filter on an Alfa Romeo is its own little adventure, by the way — but we got through that one too.
